In September 2002 a PK only PVP live event began in Asheron's Call. 

The epic battle that ensued featured many players on two sides: Those defending the final Cistern Core, and those attacking it.
In the end, Queen Elysa herself showed up and was killed by a player on Harvestgain. The players on the "evil" side defending the Cisterns, lead by Praetor and others, did so well it was only when the developers came through to "force" the conclusion that the Cistern was finally destroyed.

A Temporary Truce was called at the Cistern Core so that players could take screenshots and chat about the battle so far.
