This got me to 170 in about 2 weeks ingame. At low levels I made my weapons as I went, and got buffs somewhat quick, but used no bots or stuff like that. Later I on I did hundreds of quests and hunted for loot to aquire a set of extremely good 10x tinkered weapons and powerful armor.
Detailed Comments:
1 - 20
Do the quests, there fun. If you've been thru em before, do the mount esper/lethe infusion.
20 - 60
Matron Hives are by far the best XP for a melee at low levels. Expect to gain 2-3 levels per hour solo if your buffed. Or 1 per hour with self buffs. A mage can help a bit here imperiling, but not needed.
60 - 80
Get a Light Rend weapon. Get in a fellow at the whitered atoll. You will gain 2-3 levels per hour. If you can't find one, stick to olthoi - they are better for salvage.
80 - 110
This is when you can finaly hit the Halaetan islands for better XP. The Fiuns in abayar's laboratory are easy to kill, but you'll want good magic defense. If you have spec magic defense, you can even head in to the inner sanctum and make 30-40 mil an hour solo (altho the inner sanctum can not support a fellowship like the easier part) If your magicD is not high, stick to whitered.
110 - 140
Unfortunately there is no choice here. If you want the best XP, you have to hunt eaters with mages. Melee's aren't very effectives against them, but they are great XP. Luckily I did these 30 levels in 1 double XP weekend.
140+
Here is where the fun is. Lots of variety for good hunting. Lugians, Olthoi, or the brand new island for great outside XP and loot. You'll level extremely fast towards 160, then it will slow down a bit.

Archer Guide
This guide assumes nothing about you're archer's template, I’ve written it so it should be effective irregardless of your "class" of archer, and in cases where certain leveling spots may be more effective for different archer "classes" I’ve specified alternatives in each case. This guide is not for the weak of heart, you spend some considerably time in some dungeons, but if you follow it you should level VERY fast. In all cases I assume the character has access to full lvl 7 buffs and tinked armor, this should not be a problem for anyone at this stage of the game. Now, on with the guide..
lvl 1-20 Olthoi Arcade
This can be done in 1 buff cycle, no matter what type of archer you have, get buffs and a 113%, preferably tinked with CS and go nuts with greater bludge arrows. Pump your health, stam, quick, bow and melee d as you're primarily concerned with melee damage until lvl 40 ish.
Bow: 113% Critical Strike tinked with hog.
lvl 20-40 Nanto Matron Hive (Matron Hive South)
Tie to the ls in nanto and hit the bug dungeon, once again the archer type matters not, although I’d recommend pumping up your melee d some more until you don't get hit much, at this point any imbued 113 is nice and you may be able to use the lowest wield bows, bludge rend + greaters work nice. Make sure to start cranking your foc/self and MagicD as you near 30ish because you're going to need it against wasps.
Bow: Bludgeon Rend tinked with hog, brass might not be a bad alternative either.
lvl 40-50 Phyntos Menace
That's it, there's nothing better than wasps at this point, anywhere else you go is going to be a waste as you can clear 10 mil /hr solo here and that’s as good as it gets. Make sure you start raising your health and MagicD as high as possible here, that’s pretty much all you should be raising aside from bow (but only until you can land on them). Once you resist 80% of the time you can focus more on coord/bow, you'll want that as high as possible so you can try to get Fiun next. Once your bow is high enough you should always 1 shot the wasps.
Bow: Bludgeon Rend bow, tinked with hog as high as possible (1 shot kills = xp)
lvl 60-100 Abayer's Lab - Upper Section
I've gone into Abayer's as low as lvl 55 on a tank melee and survived (its predominantly MagicDamage in there so I’m betting with a bow it could be done at level 50). If you head in here at lvl 50 and get in a fellow, you will be leveling VERY fast for awhile, you can pull at least 40 mil in a follow here, if not more so that's plenty. Keep focusing on bow and MagicD and health, you're going to need it in the bottom section, and the Fiun have weak melee.
Bow: Fire Rend or Cold Rend, I’ve been told CR works better at lower levels but I’ve tried both and found fire outperforms at all levels
lvl 100-130 Abayer's Lab - Lower Section / 100+, 120+ Eater Dungeons
This really depends on the type of archer you have, if you're life/resist archer you're going to want to hit the bottom of Abayer's which is VERY MagicD intensive, if you're a tank then you should get to eaters ASAP. In the bottom of Abayer’s you can pull 60 mil/hr solo if you hunt and kill very fast, stand in middle of main room near where Abayer spawns and annihilate everything in the room (My archer has spec MagicD and never gets landed on here but I think 350 ish buffed MagicD is necessary to tank well if memory serves). For eaters you're looking at 50-60 mil an hour depending on the group, you'll want to crank melee d obviously and use a good slash rend, preferably tinked with brass.
Bow: Fiun - Fire Rend | Eaters - Slash Rend
lvl 130+ Vissidal Island
No reason to hunt anywhere but here, with my grief archer I can pull 100+ mil solo every hour and I make ridiculous loot. Gold mobs are your friend. Slash on sharks/remoran, light on golems, don’t bother with moarsman at all, their crits are not worth the xp. If you're a grief archer like mine, jump on rocks and land the imp on the golds then kill them, wait for other sharks to run back, loot, wash, rinse, repeat. For tanks, you can pretty much stand toe to toe with sharks and destroy them, clear the golds and wait for the others to go back and repeat as necessary. For Life/Grief, raise foc/self and life so you can land imp on the golds consistently and then go for health/melee d, for Tanks just crank melee d as necessary to evade the sharks, after that put it all in foc/self/MagicD to hopefully resist some of the war/debuffs coming your way (not even sure if this is possible yet, haven’t tested too extensively).
Bow: Sharks/Remoran - Slash Rend | Golems - Light Rend
Now as for hunting Vissidal, the majority of your xp is not coming from kills but more from the handing in of trophies that the golds drop, to accomplish this safely I have written the following guide:
Vissidal Island: The Deep, handing in gold trophies, the safe way 101
First, recall to main drop on the beach.
From there run NE up 2 inclines until you reach the blueish area after the sand then run more E up to where coral trees are.
Start running along the cliff edge and head east, the reason for running the edge is, as you draw aggro, most of the mobs will run after you and jump off the cliff, making the run relatively more safe, also, I’ve never fallen off the side yet so I don't see that happening unless you start jumping around, in which case you deserve it. happy
Once you get to 67.1E turn immediately to the south (right) and run south to 78.0N, 67.1E, there you will jump up on what I like to call safety rock, wait up there for the aggro to leave (if you stand right in the middle not even niffis should be able to hit you with spells, nor do the moarsman's breath attacks).
From there just 0.3 clicks to the south is the hand in point, now there are spawns to the left and right near the entrance (which is on the south side, so you’re coming from the back). Usually the spawn on the right side is closest and sometimes you have to clear it, if it’s closer to the building near the plant it’s probably best to clear it. You can do so, safely from the south side of the "safety rock".
Once spawn is clear run south and around the side, speak to all 4 NPCs for the various hand in quests and then hand your fins ect to the deep. NOTE: The deep is the misty cloud at the TOP of the ramp, DO NOT HAND IN YOUR SCALES AT THE BOTTOM, they will end up caught on the ramp and be UNRECOVERABLE! I cannot stress this enough, you are handing in your trophies to the misty cloud at the top of the ramp named The Deep, not the glowing crap at the bottom. If you drop your fins at the bottom and lose them, it's your own fault now shame_on_you
That's it, with this guide you should be well on your way to leveling a powerful archer in no time.
